I love my new iPad 2 case! I got it as a gift from my nephew Dylan and I am so happy about it! I used to keep it in a pink Marc Jacobs case, which I still love, but it was too bulky for my pocket book. This case is so thin and takes up less room. It's a snug fit and it folds over like an envelope with a snap to close.
***UPDATE*** Had to send these back...didn't feel good ankle support so I decided not to keep them. They were really cute, but ultimately they just didn't seem to be that comfortable. :( On to the next pair...
Heart #131 goes to...Heart Soul Kacia Boot! Found these cute boots in my favorite green color on Piperlime. The thing that I love about Piperlime is that I can place an order, get my purchase within days, try them on and decide to keep them or stick them right back in the box and ship them back for free.
Anyway, these 100% leather boots sell for $79 and they come in Green (pictured) and Dark Brown. They have a 3 3/4" heel and side zip closure. I should be getting them any day now, so I'll let you know if they are keepers!
Heart #130 goes to...Ray Ban Highstreet RB4068 Polarized Sunglasses! After scratching up the lens on my favorite pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, I decided it was time to splurge on a new pair. I hate trying on sunglasses because I just feel like there are way too many choices and it takes forever to find a pair I like. But I love this pair!! They have a tortoise frame and polarized brown lenses. They are so cool and so comfortable. I bought them in a little sun glass shop on my recent trip to Cape May and I'm very happy with my purchase. They sell for about $169 on the Ray Ban website.
Heart #129 goes to...The Pet Travel-Tainer from The Container Store! Here's what I've been looking for for quite some time now. My furry little best friend comes to work with me, and pretty much any place that he's allowed, so I always want to have extra food for him. Right now, in the back of my truck, I have a zip lock bag filled with food and a regular boring plastic container. This is so much more compact and really cute. The 4 quart container is airtight and the handles pull off to give you two bowls (one quart each), for food and water. When you are done, simply snap everything back into place! This product is PBA free and sells for $14.99.
Heart #128 goes to...The Pampered Chef's 13" Medium Round Stone with Handles! Had to blog about this today for two reasons. First reason is that I just got mine in the mail today. The second reason is the pressure from my cousin Marti to blog again. It's been almost two months since my last post and she just pointed that out to me. It's also because of her that I bought this really cool baking stone. She invited me over for dinner last week for some delicious homemade Greek soup, maybe I'll post that recipe one day, and she made crescent rolls. The rolls came out perfect, thanks to the Pampered Chef stone which "evenly distributes heat and draws moisture away from the surface".
Here are some more features:
Retains heat, so your just-out-of-the-oven foods stay hot longer
No presoaking needed before use
Virtually nonporous, so it doesn't retain oils, odors or flavors
Microwave-, freezer-, and conventional and convection
This stone goes from the oven, straight to your table, with the help of the contoured handles that are molded directly into the stone. This 13" round sells for $24.00 here. There is also a large round stone with handles and a rectangular baker. Browse the Pampered Chef website, they have really cool products and great recipes.
Heart #127 goes to..."Jar of Hearts" by Christina Perri. Click the link to go to Amazon.com so you can download this song for 99 cents. You can also listen to a sample. I love this song. I remember hearing it on So You Think You Can Dance and I had to find it and download it right away...It's really good and her voice is unexplainable. I will post the video in a separate post.
Heart #126 goes to...Handcrafted Metal Boot Tray! This great tray will replace the cheap plastic tray I currently have in my front entrance. It's been snowing a lot and this is definitely a neccessity for all of our wet snowy boots. I saw this in a friend's house and I knew I had to have it. It's from the Lillian Vernon catalog and it sells for $39.98.
Heart #125 goes to...Chai Tea Latte by Twinings for Tassimo! This has to be my favorite flavor. I do love all of the cappuccino flavors but this "sweet and spicy blend of black tea, honey, creamer and spices" is nothing like I've eve tasted before. I have a link to the Tassimo website, but I tend to buy mine at Bed*Bath*and*Beyond so that I can use my coupons ;)
Heart #124 goes to...the "Queen of A Lot" Medal of Honor Pin! Let's face it ladies, we all deserve to be treated like a Queen and we all deserve a medal. So this Queen medal is fitting for each and every one of us. You can find this medal atFemail Creations for $29. A small price to pay for such greatness. Wear it with pride! Carry on!
Heart #123 goes to...the "Forever Love" 12 Diamond Spinning Band Personalized Ring. This is one beautifully handcrafted ring. I can say so because I just got mine, and I had a friend comment on how stunning it is and how well made it is. The center band spins round and round to show you the two personalized names. It is made from solid sterling silver and has sparkling diamond pave borders and 12 genuine diamonds. The inside of the ring reveals a cutout heart pattern. It really is so pretty and I find myself admiring it and spinning the center band all day long. This ring is priced at $129 or 4 installments of $32.25. Available in sizes 5 to 12 and half sizes too....Valentine's Day is just around the corner! hint hint
Heart #122 goes to...the Big Skinny Wallet! I am always on the eternal quest for the wallet that is just right. Right now, that wallet is the Big Skinny Executive Checkbook Bi-Fold Wallet with zippered pocket in pink. I found this in a little boutique and the girl working there assured me that it was a great wallet and that every girl working there was carrying one. She even showed me hers. I have a bit of a wallet problem, as well as a pocketbook problem and let's be honest, I have a problem with boots. But, let's stick to one problem at a time. Sometimes my wallet is so spacious and that leaves me with a whole lot of room to shove all kinds of receipts and papers in it. That's great until I need to find something and I end up needing a file cabinet when I'm done. There is absolutely no reason to carry that much paperwork in my wallet. When I transferred everything into my new Big Skinny, I did have a few things left over but I quickly realized that I really didn't need them. This wallet is awesome. It doesn't end up being big and bulky and everything fits. It is so organized now and it has remained that way for the past month, through all of my Christmas shopping too! Clickthis link and you can look at all of the different types of wallets that Big Skinny makes. There's even a men's wallet. The one pictured above is $25.95 and you won't be sorry. It comes in a bunch of different colors too.
Heart #121 goes to the Umbra Dandisleeve! How can you not want one of these? These will certainly make my Dunkin*Donuts coffee cup look real cute. But not only that, you can slip these on so many of your existing cups or glasses that you have at home. It is made of a flexible, but sturdy, plastic and it sells for $4.99 at one of my absolute favorite stores...The Container Store! They make great stocking stuffers! The pink one in the picture is called the Dandisleeve and then they also have the Handisleeve, like the green one in the picture. The Handisleeve also comes in black and red.
Heart #120 goes to...Retro Handset by Yubz! Don't you miss the good old days, talking on the phone with one of these? Well, now you can talk on your cell phone with a retro handset. Imagine what that would look like in public?
Or riding as a passenger in a car and talking on the phone with one of these cool colored handsets? They plug right in to your cell phone, but be sure to check the website here to make sure you have the right one. There are five adapters included, but I think that Apple IPhone 4 needs a New Edition handset.
Oh yeah...it also reduces radiation by a minimum of 96%!!!
These handsets come in Fire Red, Florida Orange, Jet Black, Meadow Green, Orchid Purple, Chalk Pink, and Sky Blue.
Heart #119 goes to...UGG® Australia "Igloo" Gloves! I just came in from walking my dog and I probably need better gloves...it is freezing out and I know this isn't even the coldest it will be this winter. I am a huge lover of all UGG products and these gloves have made my list. I love the zig-zag lacing and shearling cuffs. They come in black and chestnut and you can get them here for about $145. Yoo hoo...Santa!!
Heart #118 goes to...Dyson DC31 Handheld Animal Vacuum Cleaner! Can't believe I've let this much time go between posts, but since I love my Dyson Handheld Animal Vacuum Cleaner so much I just had to blog about it. I got this about 2 weeks ago and all I need now is a cute bag to carry it around with me...because I ACTUALLY DO carry it around. It comes with an AC/DC power adapter and battery charger, a combination accessory tool, a crevice tool and a motorized brush bar. All Dyson handheld vacuums have a 2 year warranty. It sells for $269.99 and you can get one on here.
I charge it and then it comes with me...in the car for a quick pickup, at work to clean up around my desk, and home for all those moments when dragging out the vacuum is not necessary. It's so powerful and works great! I feel like the Lara Croft of the vacuum world! Looking forward to my next Dyson product...the Dyson ball vacuum...I'll let you know about that when I get it!
Heart #117 goes to...essie nail polish:little brown dress! I am a big fan of dark polish and I am a huge fan of browns and oranges and all autumn colors. So here is a hot new color from the fall collection from essie. I just got a pedicure yesterday and this is the color on my toes. It reminds me of little Hershey's Kisses. Clickhere to buy your very own bottle on Amazon.
Heart #116 goes to...Steve Madden Warrick Clog! Found these on Piperlime.com. They also come in black but I love the cognac color. They have a 5" wood wedge heel with a 1 1/4" platform and they sell for $119.
Heart #115 goes to...Moto Booties from Baby Gap! Why should I be the only one with really cute motorcycle boots? In honor of my new nephew, born today, I am posting about baby Moto Booties! I love these. Now we need a little motorcycle jacket to match. These are on sale right now for $12.99. Hurry, they are going fast!
Heart #114 goes to...Hunter "Verbier" Rain Boots. I didn't post much this summer, but fall is just around the corner, and with that comes cooler weather and the rain! The weather forecast is showing rain in the next day or two due to Hurricane Earl. There's nothing I love more than BOOTS! These Hunter boots are different and I love the red corset-style lacing up the back.
The approximate heel height is 3 inches. These boots sell for $175 at Nordstrom. Putting them on the wish list!
Heart #112 goes to...Pineapple Salsa from Trader Joe's. This is a great, not too spicy, light and delicious salsa that is great for eating with chips or using as a marinade. Make sure you buy more than one jar because you will end up finishing the first jar the first time you try it and you will wish you had more. And it's only $1.99 for a 12ounce jar.
Click the link above and browse Trader Joe's website. It's cool and they have lots of recipes.
Heart #110 goes to...Michael Kors Camouflage Satchel! I love camouflage and most people that know me, know that. I also love Michael Kors, I have a few of his pocketbooks and some boots! So this pocketbook, priced at $268 for the small and $328 for the large, makes me very, very happy.
Heart #109 goes to...Calvin Klein "Kaylor" Platform Pump! I'm going to a wedding today, wearing a gorgeous black jumpsuit (so elegant) and these pumps! They are so comfortable, but the true test will be after wearing them for 5 or 6 hours and lots of dancing. Got these at Bloomingdale's but I can't seem to find a link to them there. So I will link the shoes to Amazon where you can find them in black and light grey for $97.26. Click here...
Heart #108 goes to...Smooze Fruit Ice! This 100% natural, with real fruit purees and juices, icy treat is sooo delicious. I was at Whole Foods the other day and there was a whole display right near the register I was at. So, I quickly jumped off the line and grabbed the first box I could without really looking to see which flavor it was. I'm very satisfied with my choice of coconut and mango, the box is just about empty (they come 10 to a box). There are three other flavors as well...
I just spent a few minutes looking for the receipt from Whole Foods so that I can tell you how much each box of 10 costs, but I threw it out. I will come back and post a price as soon as I find out. I'll probably be heading over to Whole Foods to buy a new flavor anyway.
Let me also give you a few facts on this product:
*rich in vitamin C
*0% trans fat
Smooze Fruit Ices are packed on a farm located on the Equator in East Sumatra, Indonesia.
You can also buy them at Amazon by clickingthis link.
Heart #107 goes to...Marc by Marc Jacobs Pretty Little Tate Lip-Dot Print Nylon Tote! During my recent browse through Bloomingdale's I stumbled upon one of my favorite totes (I have the all black print pictured below) in a new Lip-Dot print. I love the two outside long narrow pockets on either side, all the inside pockets and the magnetic closure. It's roomy and looks great and sells for $158! Check out the website for a whole bunch of other prints. Oh, and the logo lining...love it!
Heart #106 goes to...Via Spiga "Tandy" Espadrilles! I found these really comfortable sandals at Bloomingdale's the other day. They are originally $175, but with the sales and coupons that I had I got them for $50! They come in fuchsia, walnut and white. I can't stress enough how comfortable they are. I had them on for about 5 hours the same day I bought them. Love them!
Heart #105 goes to...Skinny Italian by Teresa Giudice! Love, love, love this book. And that is how Teresa Giudice signed my book this past Tuesday at her book signing atLimoncello Restaurant in Mamaroneck, NY. She was fashionably late, not too much, but that gave me time to skim through most of the cookbook. It's filled with color pictures and tons of stories told Teresa style. She's funny. And she also sets the record straight on how to pronounce her last name..."It's not Jew-Dice, as Andy Cohen of Bravo says, but more "JUDY-CHAY" said very fast with the emphasis on JU" Thanks Teresa, because I was pronouncing it wrong and so was everyone I spoke to at the signing. Now, I can't wait to try out the recipes!
Heart #104 goes to...Joby Gorillapod Flexible Tripod! I ordered this last week and I love it. I used it over the weekend at a friend's rehearsal dinner party and I'm glad I had it. I didn't end up using it as a tripod, but as an extension to the camera that I was holding up in the air to get a better view of the speeches being given. I used mine with my Flip MinoHD camera. There are a few to choose from, I ordered the Gorillapod Magnetic. It holds up to 11.5oz. It sells for $24.95. This is a must have!
